Curriculum Vitae

Since 2011 Sebastian Behrendt is employed as a research assistant at the Cooperation Systems research group. In the beginning, Mr. Behrendt was in cooperation with the IntraWorlds GmbH and ready to design and develop an integrated real-time collaboration environment for innovation processes of SMEs and customers. The project called KEEK was successfully closed in 2012. Since then he observes with great interest the adoption of Social Software in various German and international companies and has consulted with various organisations, inter alia with Allianz, German Bahn, Bayer, Bosch, EADS, Schott and Siemens.

Before that, Sebastian Behrendt studied Information management at the University of Applied Sciences Hannover. Afterwards, he worked as Junior Consultant at the online agency Virtual Identity. Here he was involved in the creation and development of corporate websites for different DAX 50 companies. He also worked as a Business Consultant at Saba Software AG. There he supported different companies during the adaption and customization of Human Capital Management Software.

Research and projects
Currently, in the context of his PhD., Mr. Behrendt the analysis and visualization of informal networks in Enterprise Social Software. A great challenge hereby is to select and preprocess the various possibilities of connections between employees in such systems to allow a meaningful social network analysis (SNA).
