Curriculum Vitae
Since may 2009 Peter Lachenmaier is employed as a scientific assistant at the Cooperation Systems research group. After three years of studying Computer Science (B. Sc.) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) he graduated in october 2006. Afterwards he successfully completed the Elite graduate program Software Engineering. This program is corporately offered by the TUM, the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) and the University of Augsburg within the scope of the Elitenetzwerk Bayern (Bavarian Elite network).
Research and projects
Peter Lachenmaiers research work focuses on the integration of data from social services. This includes the development of the CommunityMashup. It unifies and interconnects the data from different sources. This includes e. g. social networking services like facebook, microblogging services like twitter or fotosharing services like flickr but also more specific services like the reference management service and scientific social network Mendeley. In the mind of the “social web” the aggregation and filtering processes are executed with an person-centric focus.
