Daniel Reutter hat im Rahmen eines Systementwicklungsprojektes an der Fakultät für Informatik der Technischen Universität München ein interessantes Werkzeug zur Unterstützung von (periphärer) Awareness realisiert (Ankündigung im Developers-Blog):
Radar gives you a quick view over your group. Be it whether your e-mail buddies or your peer programmers, Radar shows you who is participating most.
The idea behind Radar is that while there are many ways to evaluate the participation of group members, few are able to make you aware of it in a fast and intuitive way. Thus, to achieve this task, Radar provides a strictly graphical overview of member participation.
Integration with Mac OS X‘s AddressBook ensures user-friendly group administration. Radar is designed to be easily extended with various sources to evaluate the persons in it.
